We recently met with Graeme from West End Mortgages to discuss options ahead of our current mortgage agreement coming to and end. We were still just under 6 months away from the end of our existing deal so we were not expecting to be able to change deals without at least having to pay an early exit fee. Graeme was hugely helpful in going through our options, one of which was that we could lock in a deal at the current rates ahead of our renewal date in May. This was a fantastic option as the mortgage rates were already starting to go up due to the rise in interest rates.
